Our natural assets provide a range of services and benefits. They provide homes to many plants and wildlife, places for us to play and relax, pathways for floodwaters and protect the health and water quality of downstream creeks including the Brisbane River and the Moreton Bay.

Significant natural assets in Wolston and Centenary Catchments include:

  • Popes Reach Bushland Reserve – Derwent, Curlew and Daintree Places, Riverhills
  • Mount Ommaney Bushland Reserve – Mount Ommaney Drive, opposite Canowindra Street and via Summit Place, Mount Ommaney
  • Rocks Riverside Park – Counihan Road, Seventeen Mile Rocks
  • Edenbrooke Park – Brookside Crescent, Seventeen Mile Rocks or Edenbrooke Drive, Sinnamon Park
